The Lone Ranger rides to B&Q’s rescue.

'3 for 2 it' for B&Q

With sales for the year down, a lot was riding on a big sale on paint and flooring. How do you get people looking away from their phones during an ad break to watch a paint and flooring sales ad? Well, you need the Lone Ranger, obviously. The William Tell Overture hooked viewers' ears (and then eyes) and a little twist on the iconic B&Q strapline landed the message. The result? B&Q apparently sold enough paint to fill an Olympic-sized swimming pool.
